A good friend of mine in Dubai, Sian showed me how to make these yummy nibbles a few months ago. They are so easy but look and taste very impressive as a pre-dinner nibble. The tang of the goat’s cheese combined with the crunch of the biscuit and walnut is perfectly balanced with the sweetness of a hint of honey.
Goats Cheese, Walnut & Honey Bites
Ingredients (Makes around 36)
- 1 bag Mini toasts
- 150g (5 oz) goats cheese
- 18 whole walnuts, cut in half lengthways
- ¼ cup (60 ml) honey
Instructions
- Spread each biscuit with goats cheese
- Top the feta with half a walnut
- Drizzle each walnut with a very small amount of honey
Cooking Tips
- It’s easiest to drizzle honey using a honey squirt bottle
- Don’t make these too far in advance to avoid the biscuits going soft
